The borough is the county seat, wrapped by the military park. The housing stock is older than the franchise copy that treats this like any suburb.

Hanover is the commercial pull on the east side of Adams County. Most of the borough sits in York County — we still treat the corridor as a real job area.
- Littlestown, PA
Southern Adams, PA-194, a few miles from Maryland. Town lots from the 1800s sit next to ranch additions with wet crawl spaces.
- Fairfield, PA
Western Adams, mountain edge. Cooler hollows, more trees, older stone and frame houses that do not dry the way a new subdivision does.

US-30 east of Gettysburg. Antique-district downtown, older commercial-residential buildings, and houses that leak at the same flashings every winter.

Northeastern Adams, small historic borough on Conewago Creek. Older houses, some lots that sit wet, and a long drive if you only call a Harrisburg tester.

Do you only work in Gettysburg borough?
No. Borough work is the head term. The spokes are Hanover’s eastern corridor, Littlestown, Fairfield, Biglerville, McSherrystown, Bonneauville, New Oxford, and East Berlin.
Why is Hanover on an Adams County map?
Most of Hanover borough is in York County. Eastern Adams already uses that commercial corridor. The Hanover page says so instead of redrawing the county line.
